Accelerate revenue collection

I’ve solved the city’s money problems. If the city wants unlimited money for police, fire, parks and roads, the answer is simple: Install speed cameras on Grand Boulevard between 17th and 21st.

Why limit yourself to “safety” revenue with cameras in school zones only during the school year? This would be a constant stream of money. Hardly anyone drives the posted 20 mph through that park zone.

The money earned from the tickets would more than pay for any program the city needs or wants to fund. They could even fund the several cost overruns that will most likely come from the new Riverfront Park remodel without having to possibly seek private donations.
