Parking fix is bad

The city recently changed a rule where if you park downtown in one of the most congested areas, you can only park for two hours and not refill your meter. They should not have done that, because a lot of plays occur downtown and most plays are over two hours. Who wants to run out to the car during a show? You guessed it, no one.

In most cases, if you want to have a nice sit-down meal with your family, you are there for more than two hours sitting and enjoying each other’s company. No one wants to be rushed to finish their meal because of a parking meter.

Because of this, people are being forced to park in parking garages, most which the city doesn’t even own. People are being forced to walk farther and spend more money than just being able to park on the street. Bring back refillable meters.
