We Found the Best Campground in Montana

We needed a place to crash after the Pearl Jam concert in Missoula, Mont., a spot where we’d launch our trip to Alaska, and we scored big time at the charming Lolo Square Dance Center and Campground.

This place has everything you want in a campground: large, private spots, free showers in ultra-clean bathrooms, guest laundry, friendly hosts, cheap coffee, a beautiful creek steps away, a well-enforced quiet hour. It’s just 20 minutes down the road from Missoula… one of the prettiest cities in the great state of Montana.
