Politicking over safety

City Council leadership under mayor-seeking Stuckart is again self-serving at the expense of public safety. For a few shekels from vendor Lime to the city, in return for a contract with Lime, only one council member is intelligent enough (Mr. Fagan) to oppose the double standard requiring helmets for privately owned two-wheeled traffic but not Lime’s green scooters. Dumb, dumber, dumbest!

Leave it to Stuckart, who alone torpedoed city police and School District 81 plans to arm school resource officers two years ago. Government’s primary role is to protect the citizenry. Perhaps Stuckart should go back to school and learn the basics of public service before pushing ahead with self-serving politicking at the expense of the safety of our children and the public at large.
