Affordability

These are the things we can’t afford: health care, renewable energy, infrastructure, public transportation, education, clean environment, feeding the poor, and fair public elections.

The things we can afford: Iraq and Afghan wars at $4.6 trillion, Wall Street bailouts at $12.8 trillion, big oil subsidies at $37.8 billion per year, and the F-35 program at $1.5 trillion. In the past 30 years America has had 13 wars spending $14.2 trillion.

Our federal government is sending the citizens of our republic and our democracy into the abyss of no return. Please remember this when it’s time to vote!
