One flag for all Americans

It’s right and proper that only the Stars and Stripes should fly above embassies and United States government buildings. This banner represents the whole of the people of this country. It deserves respect. It should stand out from all other banners.

I cannot understand why there is a controversy concerning the rainbow flag flying beneath the Stars and Stripes. Of course, the rainbow flag should not fly there. Nor should any other flag, unless it is a state flag at a state government building.

Would there be controversy over a Christian or Muslim flag flying there? What about Native American flags?

I am very glad the U.S. federal directive was to fly only the Stars and Stripes over embassies. At any time of year. This flag represents me, and everyone who is a U.S. citizen.
