A very special house

In today’s world it seems that dads are overlooked. Imagine my surprise nine years ago on a visit to Spokane, when I discovered the “Father’s Day house.”

I stopped and read the story behind the landmark on a nice plaque that was placed at the edge of the yard. I have traveled all over our country since that day, and whenever I hear of a place that is special to the local residents I tell the story of that very special house and what it represents.

Happy Father’s Day everyone.
