I just want my bathroom back

Thousands of teenagers across America vape. It has been a trend for the last several years. Vape is effortless to hide, comes in fun flavors, and seems to be marketed toward teens.

So it makes sense why whenever I walk into a bathroom, one or more girls are vaping. Being someone who does not vape, this is increasingly more annoying every time I have to go pee, and I’m not the only one who feels this way. This is a complication for those of my friends who are trying to quit. They explain to me that when they go to the bathroom, see someone they know, they get asked if they have, or want nicotine. For people who are working hard to get over vaping, having that temptation whenever they have to go to the bathroom makes it so much harder to get over that addiction.

It should not have to be this way. So to those of you who vape, please restrain from doing it inside of school or even altogether, considering that I, and very many others, just want our bathroom back.
