Many have "come in from the cold" today -- and revealed their true identities to me. The result? I'm grateful for your trust to keep your identities to myself. And I'm humbled. The caliber of commenters who post here couldn't be higher. Musicians. Athletes. Politicians. Stock brokers. Attorneys. Etc. Among those who came in from the cold today were Westsider, Chatterbox, MIK, LukeB, A Token Democrat, Truthseeker, Seeker, etc. Some still haven't: Big Mac, James Bond, ValleyMoll, among others. ValleyMoll sez she doesn't trust journalists to protect her ID. She's still welcome to post here, but without full privileges. In talking to Blogmeister KenP, the day is coming soon when we're going to require registration. It provides legal protection for us. And enables us to deal with spam more effectively. I once thought this was a problem. But no more. If/when registration is required, you still would be able to post under pseudonyms. And your name would be kept secret. Can you point out any flaws in this approach? In the meantime, I'd ask those still out in the cold to come in soon and join the fun officially.
