P.S.

Family Phil: “The Nick Holt situation just took a turn into the Twilight Zone. KIVI-TV in Boise just reported that Holt has changed his mind on joining Scott Linehan with the Rams and is now headed back to USC to be Pete Carroll’s Defensive Coordinator! The football coaching world is a strange place indeed.”

DFO: Sometimes, it’s hard to make up your mind. I remember the long night I had in September 1984 when I decided to quit as news editor of the Lewiston Morning Tribune and join The Spokesman-Review as a courthouse reporter. Hardest job decision I ever made. I changed my mind every hour on the hour. After I decided to stay in Lewiston, my friend Doug Clark called me several times to persuade me otherwise. And he finally succeeded at 3 o’clock in the morning. I worked in Coeur d’Alene for a year before I finally felt comfortable that I’d made the right decision.

Question: What is the toughest job decision you’ve ever made?
