Group To Spotlight CdA Ed Issues

Huckleberries asked Amy Evans, president of the Coeur d'Alene Education Partnership, whether her new organization would be involved in the 2012 Coeur d'Alene School Board races. Here's her answer:

“We are planning on holding an informational forum leading up to the school board elections.  We are a 501c3 and cannot endorse candidates.  However, we can create opportunities for our community to get to know the candidates.  We hope to be a reliable source of information for our community.  We will communicate current events, issues, and decisions that our school district is facing via email (to our members), through social media, seminars, public forums, and community events.  We will promote sound and research-based policies.” You can learn more about the organization here.
