Christa: Input Needed On Person

On Facebook, Christa Hazel posts: "If you are like us, you use Person Field on 15th Street for Jr. Tackle Football. Be aware that the School District wants to sell their half of the field. While the City is trying to negotiate, the school board so far is not willing to meet in a joint, publicly televised meeting to hash out an agreement. The City is asking for a joint public meeting. The school district will reconsider saying yes to the joint meeting proposal on Monday night @  5 p.m. at Midtown Center. Please consider sharing with parents you talk to --- 1/2 of Person Field, a public property, may just turn into private property without input from folks like us."

Question: Can you think of a single legitimate excuse for the Coeur d'Alene School Board to reject the City Council's request for an open meeting to discuss the purchase of Person Field?
