Kerri: Separating Wheat From Chaff

In response to a Facebook post re: friends by Cindy Hval, Kerri Thoreson writes: "If you really want to separate the wheat from the chafe I recommend running for a high profile local political office. I was able to cull my Christmas card list considerably but that's a good thing. I didn't lose any friends who were authentically my friends and it was actually rather liberating."

Question: How do you tell your true friends from the pretenders?
