CdA students can apply for home computer

Computers for Kids, a Boise-based nonprofit, is accepting applications from Coeur d'Alene area students who want to receive a home computer.

The organization will be in the area hosting its annual distribution and donation event in July. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30.

To apply for a computer, applications can be obtained at local schools, online at www.cfkidaho.org, or by calling (208) 345-0346.

Any student from kindergarten through sophomore year of college can request computers by filling out the application and writing an essay on why they want a computer. The application and essay can be submitted to Computers for Kids at 8549 W. Elisa St., Boise, ID 83709.

Computers for Kids is a nonprofit that takes donations of computers, refurbishes and licenses them and then donates the fully-equipped computer systems to students in Idaho. CdA Press
