AJ Explains Why Running As Demo

A.J. Balukoff gave this explanation when asked why he's running for governor as a Democrat in Republican-dominated Idaho:

First and foremost, I am running as an Idahoan. I am a Democrat because the values of the Democratic Party most closely align with my own. I've always sought the best solutions in business, and supported people I considered the best candidates, regardless of their party. As governor, when faced with difficult challenges, I will pursue meaningful solutions by bringing together community members, local leaders, and key stakeholders in any issue, regardless of party labels.
