Huckleberries Online

Left behind

Huckleberry Friend Cathyanne Nonini provides a quick behind-the-scenes look at the hectic schedule that faces some spouses, before and after, their mates head to Boise to legislate for 3 months:

"I don't know of it would interest your readers but getting the legislators ready to move to Boise is quite an event, from finding a place to live to getting everything packed up.   Many wives are left alone (not all go with their spouses) and we have to deal with furnaces going out, shoveling snow etc. besides running husbands' businesses as best as we can while they are gone and basically unreachable."
