Spokane Valley

What to do, what to do

There is certainly plenty going on in the Spokane Valley area tomorrow, most notably the Fairfield Flag Day celebration and the Liberty Lake Community Yard Sale. But what to do on Sunday? You're in luck. The McIntosh Grange in Rockford will put on an early Father's Day breakfast on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Grange hosts monthly breakfasts and this will be the last one until the fall. The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for kids.

Sunday's menu includes waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, fruit and beverages. Sounds yummy. And who wouldn't like to have someone else cook? The grange is located at First and Lake Street in Rockford. To reach it, head south on Highway 27 from Spokane Valley until you reach Rockford. Turn left on Emma, then right on First. Lake Street is a couple blocks down.
