Singleton finally a Cougar

Deion Singleton was expected by many to be an early contributor from Washington State’s 2014 recruiting class. He played his senior year at Pasco High after transferring from Godby High in Tallahassee, Florida where he was recruited by a number of prominent southern programs. He eventually signed with WSU last February.

But he wasn’t with the team at fall camp and never enrolled. He’ll still be a Cougar, however, as the team announced Thursday evening that he signed a financial aid agreement and will enroll in January. He can participate in spring practices and will be a true freshman next season.

The press release from WSU Athletics is after the jump.
