Reinstate provider’s license

I am writing in support of a fantastic educator in the Spokane Valley. Her name is Jolene Allen and she has made a positive impact on the lives of many Spokane Valley children who have been lucky enough to become part of the Christ Beginnings family.

My son has been attending the center as a pre-kindergarten student since September 2008. We have received outstanding care at this center. The staff are highly experienced, professional and care about the development of the children. I am convinced that Christ Beginnings is, undoubtedly, the finest early education that a child could receive.

Allen has a spotless 20-plus-year record of child care in the Spokane Valley. She has been nothing but caring and professional in the time that I have known her. It is appalling that her license would be suspended without proof of wrongdoing. These actions have resulted in many families being without child care, and many children will be unable to attend their kindergarten classes.

Allen’s license needs to be reinstated immediately so Christ Beginnings Child Care can reopen its doors and do what they have been doing for 20-plus years: providing an outstanding early childhood experience for our children.
