Challenge is good

The Spokesman-Review

I’m in the fourth grade at Borah Elementary. I wanted to write a letter in support of the replacement levy. Without the passing of this levy many important programs will be cut. One of the programs to be cut is the Advanced Learning Program.

I, myself, am an ALP student in math and reading. We have been learning many different things. In math we are learning geometry and we’ve done division and multiplication. In reading we are reading “Riding Freedom,” “Pathki Nana” or “Naya Nuiki,” and “Frindle.” They are good books.

I really like these ALP subjects because they challenge me. I also just can’t imagine school without them.
