Waldref roots right for Council

The Spokesman-Review

Northeast Spokane District 1 has an opportunity to vote a true neighbor to represent them on the city council. Amber Waldref grew up in the Nevada Lidgerwood Neighborhood in the home where her parents still live. She attended St. Pat’s in Hillyard and Gonzaga Prep. Amber’s parents are involved in their community and are both employed within northeast Spokane.

After graduating from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and completing a master’s degree at Antioch University, Amber returned to Spokane, to family and to northeast Spokane.

Amber, her husband, Tom, and their daughter live in the Logan Neighborhood. Tom teaches at Gonzaga Prep. Amber currently serves as vice chair of the Logan Neighborhood Council where she has been a member for three years.

Amber Waldref has deep roots in northeast Spokane. She returned to northeast Spokane to work and raise her family. If elected, Amber will represent District 1 with knowledge of the neighborhood, its people, and with a desire to make northeast Spokane the best it can be.
