Record of accomplishment

I support Mike Kennedy for Coeur d’Alene City Council because:

The City Council recognized the tough economic climate and passed a balanced budget that calls for a 0 percent property tax increase.

Mike strongly supports American Legion baseball and its historic home at McEuen Field.

Mike’s strong support for public safety has earned him the endorsement of both the city’s firefighters and police officers.

I personally worked with Mike Kennedy to support Coeur d’Alene’s new public library.

He supported Coeur d’Alene’s successful effort to bring the amazing Kroc community center to our town.

Mike supported efforts to obtain and open an amazing new 5-mile public bike and walk trail, connecting north and south in our city.

He helped protect open spaces and public places and the opening of the new parks, like the Landings Park and the park at Riverstone.

Mike has worked to increase access to permanent long-term educational opportunities through the acquisition of land for the proposed education corridor.

For these many reasons and his dedication to keeping Coeur d’Alene a great place to live, I am working with Mike on his campaign and believe he should be re-elected to City Council.
