Saluting all veterans

The Spokesman-Review

To all the soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard, both active duty and reservists, thank you, and your families, for your dedication, sacrifice and service to our country. Your selfless actions have given all Americans our freedom and the ability to prosper. Without each one of you serving where you are, we the people of these United States would not be the country so many people want to be a part of – the “City on the Hill.” Thank you for your service.

Also know that not every American is ignoring you this Memorial Day as your commander in chief has done. While Mr. Obama isn’t taking time to properly offer our country’s appreciation for the sacrifice you and those that served before have made, we the American citizens support you and salute you, not just this Memorial Day weekend, but each and every day you serve this great nation.
