Letter: Mad for bombs

Have we gone mad? What in the heck are we doing in Libya, supporting a bunch of pickup-driving idiots with machine guns mounted on the back of their trucks?

Will we bomb ourselves if a bunch of pickup-driving hillbillies with shotguns and Confederate flags on their rear windshield (innocent civilians) rise up and revolt against our government? Have we really sunk this low, sending our professional military resources supporting such an idiotic mission?

If this is the new Obama doctrine, that we will bomb sovereign nations without the consent of Congress if so-called “civilians” are in harm’s way, will we bomb China if another Tiananmen Square uprising occurs?
