Give nonpoliticians a try

Following is borrowed from a friend:

“Looks like the winning presidential team is coming together after Donald Trump said he would only run as a Republican and Rep. Alan West of Florida would like to be Trump’s vice president. There are those who say Republicans should not look to an entertainer for the position of president of our country. All I can say to that is why not? We did pretty good with Ronald Reagan!”

Those are wise words, but I’m still thinking that Herman Cain, as a very savvy businessman who knows how to keep the finances of a large business above water, may be a good choice. He’s a very honest and intelligent man. In fact, he and Alan West, a retired military figure and true-blue American patriot, would make a winning pair.

The time is past for politicians to hold the office of president. They’ve only succeeded in running this country through the wringers and dumping us in the toilet.

Let’s go outside the political arena before they flush us completely.
