Meet with constituents

I am starting to become concerned at the disappearance of Cathy McMorris Rodgers from the scene in the Spokane area. People have been clamoring for a town hall meeting to discuss her recent votes to privatize Medicare, to extend tax cuts for the wealthy and her refusal to raise the debt limit to pay for past expenditures (kind of like refusing to pay the balance on your credit card).

She seems to have been rendered mute. She certainly has been demonstrating her loyalty to Grover Norquist and his anti-tax group, but how about listening to the folks here in Eastern Washington? Her low visibility seems to be consistent with someone in the witness protection program. She was last seen in Spokane meeting with some special interest groups and, I believe, there was a brief sighting at a small coffee shop. A town hall meeting would provide a venue for her to hear other points of view.

Cathy, your title is “representative”! How can you represent us if you won’t meet your constituents?
