Protect water from process

I am concerned that the rule-making going on in Boise right now over “fracking” for natural gas in Idaho will not do enough to protect public health and Idaho’s water. Let’s make sure adequate rules are in place now so no Idahoan has to worry about water that has been poisoned or water that can catch fire when they turn on the tap. This has already happened in other states.

If ever there was a time to stand up to out-of-state industries, this is it. I am not against natural gas. I heat my home and cook with it. I just want Idaho to be sure it is obtained in a manner that does not detract from the values we hold dear, like Idaho’s clean water.
