Don’t like the brown-out

My heart grieves when, as a result of escalating water rates, I see dry lawns and dead/dying trees and shrubs throughout our once lush city. Greedy powers-that-be continually trumpet the benefits of “going green” while letting Spokane “go brown” with their intrusive freedoms-and-rights-stripping policies.

Throw the hypocrites out, I say! If I wanted to live in the desert, I’d move to Death Valley. Guess “it’s not easy being green” anymore.
