Scrutinize Social Security

Hearing continuous reports on the Social Security running dry in the future brings valid questions.

Who has authorized borrowing from the Social Security investment funds? For how long has this illegal dipping been going on? How much is owed back to Social Security, and by which government department?

Why aren’t our U.S. representatives and senators concerned sufficiently to investigate? Put more importance on such exercises, and stop it, rather than display such indifference and unconcern as to simply criticize people whose employed investment in this program is their major source of retirement income for their senior years.

When has it been considered politically correct to call this payroll deduction – a mandatory requirement – an entitlement?
