Don’t jeopardize base

In response to “Nonprofits plan new homes” (April 16): The U.S. Air Force base was there first because there was no danger of towns or cities in the road in case of a crash. Now that everyone wants to build there, it will be a danger zone. People will want to have the base moved. Just let them put the houses and casino in, and you can kiss the main employer in this area goodbye.

Remember, the base was on the last hit list, and a new one is coming.
