Cartoon misses target
The Lisa Benson editorial cartoon of Feb. 10 is typical of her habitual intellectual and political dishonesty. Noncitizen residents of the United States, whether documented or undocumented, are not eligible to vote; and there is no credible evidence that any significant number of them have done so fraudulently, or even attempted to do so.
As for gaming the system, it is Republican state legislatures and governors all across the country who are trying to rig election laws and procedures to favor their own party.
