‘Arms’ not defined

According to Wikipedia, “The term assault weapon was originally used in the context of military weapons systems. The term assault weapon as used in context of civilian rifles has been attributed to gun-control activist Josh Sugarmann, author of the ‘Assault Weapons and Accessories in America.’ ”

It is a shame that the actions of a few, and I mean extremely few, legal gun owners are going to be the reason the rest may lose our constitutional right to bear certain or all arms. The Constitution does not define what different arms are allowed or not allowed, only the right to keep and bear arms.

We do not need more laws to control gun ownership, the laws on the books need to be enforced. The big thing to remember is that no gun makes a decision to fire and injure or kill, only the human pulling the trigger made that decision. Remember, an armed society is a polite society!
