Probably why fireworks are illegal

The Spokane Fire Department has a new video reminding folks that fireworks are dangerous and illegal in many Inland Northwest communities .
But the following videos might do a better job of making their point.
Oh, we probably should warn you that when fireworks displays and pyrotechnic experiments go badly, explicit language sometimes follows — so if you’re at work you might want to turn down the volume or use headphones.
We don’t spend the Fourth in Spokane. Instead we go to a lake in a neighboring county where fireworks are still legal. Honestly, I don’t like watching the boys set them off. Even after all these years it makes me nervous. I’m more of a sparkler gal.
