Appreciate Honor Flight

As a World War II U.S. Army veteran, I, along with 87 other Armed Forces veterans, would like to say thanks to the people whose donations made our Honor Flight possible. Arlington National Cemetery, the National Mall and the memorial parks were awesome. The World War II Memorial is a wonderful tribute to those who did not come home.

Upon our return to the Spokane airport, we were surprised to be greeted by a band and a crowd of cheering, clapping people. It was a wonderful welcome home, and we were only gone for two days. It was a very emotional time for me and, I think, for many of the other men and women on the flight.
