Common Core for no child

Regarding “Common Core takes time” (Aug. 3):

Yes, it certainly does. It will take about 10 times longer to do a simple math problem than it does now. That’s right, Mom and Dad, I hope you look close at your child’s homework. I hope you look at your child’s history lessons to see how history is being rewritten. And certainly I hope you know what is going into your child’s data bank concerning your family, to be shared with God knows who.

And all of this is only going to take up to 12 years for Common Core to work? You think “No Child Left Behind” was bad? Common Core is much worse but, as they say, there is a sucker born every minute.
