Support for Pakootas

Albert Einstein is said to have defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Registered voters will soon have the opportunity to repeat what they have done over and over again. Some will continue their practice of not exercising their right and responsibility to vote, leaving it up to others to make the critical decisions that impact their lifestyle. Others will just vote for the incumbent because they recognize the name.

There is a candidate in the 5th Congressional District that has strong ties to our community and has a history of investing his time, talents and treasures locally. That candidate is Joe Pakootas.

Pakootas is a lifelong resident in the area, has been married for 38 years to his high school sweetheart, and his children and grandchildren live in our community. He is a gun owner, a hunter, a coach for athletics and has a philosophy of leaving the world a better place. Joe is a small-businessman.

Pakootas is not the traditional politician. He is dedicated to our community. He has my vote of confidence, and I hope others will look at their choices, mark their ballot for Joe Pakootas and return it by the Aug. 5 deadline.
