Labrador doesn’t get it

Is Rep. Raul Labrador really representative of Idaho?

During the current legislative session, the Idaho House considered two so-called religious freedom bills (HB 426 and HB 427). Once exposed to the light of day, neither was given a vote in committee. Part of the reason was their latent discrimination, and another was an attorney general’s opinion about their constitutionality.

The result was the right one, and happened more efficiently than in Arizona.

Now comes Labrador who, along with Sen. Mike Lee of Utah, is proposing a similar law at the federal level.

The Idaho Legislature has reflected the will of the people of Idaho, yet Labrador wants to override that decision.

I ask again, is Labrador really representative of Idaho?
