Policy on name-calling

The stated policy of The Spokesman-Review Roundtable is to not print name-calling opinions. Yet, there it is, July 25: You print a Michael Ramirez cartoon calling the Democratic candidates crazy old socialists.

So let me point out that there are 16 crazy old (and young) fascists running for the Republican Party. Now, let’s see if you print my letter.

David Randall

Spokane

(Editor’s note: The policy forbids calling other letter writers names. The standard is different for public officials.)
