No cringe factor with Ramos

Randy Ramos an “unlikely challenger (Oct. 8)”? Randy might agree. A single father of school-aged children who works helping other youth further their education, Randy has a busy life without politics. He is running for Spokane City Council because he wants to work for better economic development in northeast Spokane so our children need not leave town to find work that pays a good wage. He thinks he represents the views and interests of district residents better than the incumbent does. I agree.

Mike Fagan brings my district notoriety with his ignorant, intemperate statements, which are too numerous for me to cite due to the word limit on letters. There would be no cringe factor with Ramos on the council. He won’t be calling other elected officials whores and cowards. Randy plays well with others. Mike runs with scissors.

Fagan has been on the wrong side of too many issues. Many of us want a different voice speaking for our district on the City Council and will vote for Randy Ramos.
