Students aren’t top priority

I just want to understand the teachers’ thinking on this by paraphrasing the rhetoric I have heard and read the last few days: All we care about are the kids. The kids are our first priority. Pay us more money or we will strike.

No wonder our society is in decline with such caring role models.
