Apology accepted

First, my reaction to reading the religious column on Aug. 12: disgust. I read it twice and was more upset. This pastor shows little Christian values.

Second, thanks to Editor Rob Curley for the apology. The title of the column says so much, and I so appreciated the quickness of your response. That original column was derisive, and I hope that pastor’s congregation is able to think for themselves and see the damage his words produced.

I do not read the religious column often; however, this one was most harmful, and I am sure that pastor would not agree. And, yes, this should probably should have been printed as a discussion of many views, and not just the one.
