Wiser has proven value

Being a school board director in a public school district with the size and complexity of Spokane Public Schools can be both a thankless task and an energizing endeavor, requiring a commitment to all the stakeholders in the system.

Mike Wiser, a current SPS board member, has displayed the measured approach that is needed to maintain a safe and secure environment for all our children, especially those who struggle, to thrive in school. With many administrative issues facing the district, especially redistricting and changing the middle school model, continuing even-handed, equitable leadership will be necessary.

As a former school board member myself, I believe Mike Wiser has shown the wisdom, common sense and team-building skills that is needed as we nurture the future of our city and our children.
