Sensible gun laws

The Las Vegas massacre will focus our attention on the lack of gun control laws. The National Rifle Association obstructs sensible gun control and safety laws and even gun violence research by the CDC. Our congressional representative, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, is Washington state’s leading recipient of money from the NRA at $17,450.

We all want to be safe and have a safe society. The esteemed magazine, Scientific American, October 2017, concludes gun access does not reduce crime, guns are rarely used in self defense and an armed home is not a safer home. We need legislators that will enact sensible gun control laws and not be in the hip pocket of the NRA.
