Mike Pompeo not fit

Mike Pompeo is not fit to be secretary of state. He does not have the temperament, experience or knowledge to handle complicated matters of diplomacy. He has consistently decried marriage equality and he supports State Department black sites. He also has a reputation for being anti-Muslim. He has a history of attacks on the State Department. How can he lead this department?

Our members of Congress - Congresswoman McMorris-Rodgers, Senator Cantwell and Senator Murray - must not confirm Mike Pompeo as secretary of state. He is a dangerous addition to a temperamental administration. He is not a diplomat who can find alternatives to war and violence in the international community. We need someone committed to the value of diplomacy and human rights of all people.
