A fix for voter registration

I have a simple solution for the voter registration controversy: Everyone should be registered nationally using their Social Security number.

Every person who has the right to vote has a Social Security number. Not everyone with an SSN has the right to vote, however; the Social Security Administration can be notified when someone becomes ineligible. Like when they die or get convicted of a felony. They would be eligible to vote at the address on file with the SSA.

Tell me why this won’t work.
