Dirty bike lanes unsafe

I would like to remind the city of Spokane they can build all the bike lanes they want but if they don’t clean them in the spring they are not useable. You can’t safely ride on a quarter inch of sand, rocks and broken glass. Rowan Avenue is a perfect example: beautiful lanes in both directions, unusable.

The city did a great job of snow removal this winter; street cleaning in the spring should have the same priority, 24-7 as soon as streets are dry, getting rid of the dust and making the entire city cleaner and all parts of the streets useable.
