Local GOP OKs 2 Resolutions

In action Tuesday night, the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee passed two resolutions overwhelmingly. The Central Committee approved resolutions that:

• Denounce recent action by the national party to loosen immigration rules. Background here.
• Urges our state legislators to prepare legislation requiring school districts to provide each parent with full explanation of the FERPA laws, along with an “opt out” form (re: school directories). Background here.
