Eunice Kennedy Shriver, 88

President John F. Kennedy's sister Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who carried on the family's public service tradition by founding the Special Olympics and championing the rights of the mentally disabled, died early Tuesday surrounded by relatives at a Hyannis hospital. I have followed the life of Eunice Kennedy Shriver for just about my whole life. She was a remarkable woman and personally I think she was the cream of the crop of the Kennedy clan.
