A bride at 103!

I love Facebook because comments are often short and clever and just enough. Yesterday my Facebook friend, Penny Simonson, posted this. I wanted more! Here's what she wrote:
"Today I went to the funeral of a lovely woman to whom I am only related by marriage. Ellen was 105 years old - and the room was filled with the myriad of relations that came from her life: She was widowed 7 years into her first marriage; and was then married for 28 years to her second husband; after he passed away, she spent 33 years with her third. In 2010, when she was 103 years old, she married for the fourth time. She died a bride, which we all found just loved. A dear woman; a life well lead."

Spokesman-Review features writer Rebecca Nappi, along with writer Catherine Johnston of Olympia, Wash., discuss here issues facing aging boomers, seniors and those experiencing serious illness, dying, death and other forms of loss.
