AM Scanner Traffic — 3.14.11

  • 9:58 a.m. Caller reports vehicle has dropped load of debris @ Govt Way & Prairie/Hayden.
  • 9:55 a.m. KCSD reports Chevy found submerged in Hayden Lake was reported stolen this AM.
  • 9:51 a.m. Caller reports a young girl is at bus stop w/o coat @ McGuire & Fisher/Post Falls.
  • 9:38 a.m. A gray-and-brown horse is running loose in closed range along Atlas/Rathdrum.
  • 9:41 a.m. Caller tells CdA police that man in silver Toyota 4Runner pushed him, then drove off.
  • 9:29 a.m. Alison Boggs at scene reports that no one is in submerged vehicle 30 to 40 feet off Hayden Lake. Vehicle is stolen with Nevada plates. It appears that the white Chevy Cavalier was pushed into water by someone abandoning it. Maintenance worker found car today during routine inspection.
  • 9:10 a.m. A 2YO child has a bobby pin stick in his ear after fall @ 15865 Meyer/Rathdrum.
  • 8:54 a.m. Caller reports finding a vehicle halfway under docks at Honeysuckle Beach, in about 5 feet of water. No one saw vehicle go into water. Update: Deputy confirms that a vehicle is totally submerged and asks county to send dive team.
  • 8:33 a.m. Richard wants to see an officer re: a dispute about house keys.
  • 8:22 a.m. Patrol officer questions numbers in license plate he’s checking. Sez: “I think we have some dyslexia here.” Responds dispatcher: “The problem is probably me.”
  • 8:17 a.m. Officer wants dispatcher to contact city hall re: failure of school lights to flash on H41 & H53.
